  • A rain drawn and big movie opening weekend (Jurassic World) and the staff were not up to task. I admit, I would not usually have anything to write about a Cineplex Theatre, movie, popcorn and relax. Honestly, can you a poor write a review in good faith if a projector broke or they had unexpected mechanical aka heating or cooling issues. In experience, they are always at the door with feee passes for the best movie. Saturday however is another story! NO FOUNTAIN DRINKS! Ok, that was a bit harsh, however hear me out. It was a 5 PM so early in their world, what, two more rounds of movies multiplied by a dozen screens in addition to my late afternoon showing? The theatre has those fancy choose your flavour machines, four I think, but could be five. Yet, not only us, and we tried other machines despite lining up again all had a handful of flavours that were completely empty. Sure you could screen slam and and choose an alternative, and less popular flavour like Fanta, but for $20 a combo, get with it people. Be on top of that stuff - stand guard, ready and able - or at least be proactive. I certainly hope it was fixed between our move and the next otherwise, I would not be surprised that the next wave of movie goers will have had nothing but the dreads of the fountain pop barrel.
