For weeks now, we have been trying to figure out a way to frame a poster sized version of our wedding invite with a mat for people to sign... BUT not spend almost $1,000. Seriously? What makes custom framing so costly that they can get away with quoting $900 for a 22x28 piece? Is it a solid gold frame or something? Geez.
Anywho, almost ready to give up, our hunt took us in to Corners just 6-days before the wedding. I'm so glad we stumbled in because they solved all our problems! The INCREDIBLY helpful gentleman behind the counter, Jeff (I think he's the owner), encouraged us to buy the $70 frame from Michaels and just order a custom mat from Corners for $37. Hallelujah! Wedding crisis adverted. I am so grateful for Jeff's patience with us as we explained what we wanted. And, I'm still so amazed that he actually discouraged us from framing with him since we told him we were on a budget. Such a decent, honest human being and businessman!
If I ever need anything matted or framed, I will visit Corners exclusively. They've made me a loyal customer for life!
