Third time back to this place, but probably the last. I travel here because I can't find a decent men's barbershop. But I'm not fond of the atmosphere, and it's not what they claim it to be. It's supposed to cater to men, but it's not much different than a women's salon.
Last two times daytime talk shows were on: Dr. Phil and Wendy. The first time the stylist said "you can change it if you want," but I didn't feel comfortable doing so. This last time, no such offer was made.
I get a cut and beard trim. Two of the three stylists I've had are clearly not comfortable trimming beards. Each customer is supposed to get a hot towel on their face and shoulder massage. Only once has this happened, and then it was done as an afterthought. I'll keep looking for a shop for men.
