  • The names of this company and the other that does Segway tours are confusingly similar. This one does the *Tempe Town Lake* tour, which I think is perfect for a first-time rider: most of the ride is on the wide, fairly flat walkways on either side of the lake, with only a couple of steet crossings. My mother and I lucked out in booking a day right before Christmas that no one else had booked, so we got our own private tour. Our guide Karl was easygoing and patient, and very knowledgeable about the local history. My mother (who just recently moved to Arizona) was impressed with all of the information, as we had figured we would just ride and look at the scenery. I would definitely do another tour with Segway of Scottsdale.
