Mark is an excellent counselor. He listens, always stays calm and is honest. He tells it like it is without coming across as harsh or uncaring. He takes the time to explain why things are as they are and always has books, articles and advice for every situation. We started with Mark with our teenage son who did NOT want anything to do with counseling. After only 2 visits he was not only willing but eager to go see Mark. Mark didn't just lecture hi in an office but took him on walks, talking while they walked and played Chess with him! Mark went above and beyond to reach our son. Later when we saw him for couples counseling I was not surprised to find him gentle and stern at the same time. His insight and knowledge are far superior to any counselor I've seen or heard about. When I was looking for an individual counselor and couldn't see Mark as he was working with us as a couple I asked an acquaintance for a referral. She raved on an on about her amazing therapist before giving me the name, it was MARK!! He has spent time on the phone with me numerous times when I had an issue and my appointment was still days away. I have moved out of state but have given Mark's name to a number of my friends and coworkers. My son who is now grown still talks about Mark and has talked to him just touching base as an adult. I read the reviews calling Mark, "selfish" or "I missed 1 appointment and the guy flipped out, leaving me an obscene message. Not bothering to find out why I missed.." This is crazy!! I don't think Mark knows an obscene word and I would bet my life that he would NEVER leave a rude message or refuse to see somebody simply for missing an appointment.
Mark Loeser is an amazing counselor and a wonderful man. I would trust him with anybody who needs help. 5 stars just is NOT enough for this professional's service.
