  • When I'm in the 27/7 area and want a good sandwich, I end up at Molisana. I've been going there off and on since the time it was a tiny shop on the west side of the same mall. They have two parts to this place. A hot table and a bakery - the hot table is now open until 7pm. The hot table has a bunch of goodies. Some great food and some not so amazing. I stick to the sandwiches because I know what I am getting. Their Veal/Sausage/Chicken/Meatball sandwiches are tasty. Add some shrooms and peppers...and make sure you ask for a little more of their tomato sauce - YUM! Also, if you like chicken soup, get a bowl of it. It's a healthy portion of soup and sprinkled with their parm, it's one of the best I've had. If you like pasta, come during the early rush as some of it will sit in the warmer for hours - spoiling your expectations and the meal. The pizzas also can stay long on top of the food display. As the Hot Table opens to 7PM, you really don't know what you are getting as the day runs long. The place is pretty Italian all the way through. Older Italian gentlemen enjoying their meal or just chatting away over an espresso or two, and women coming though grabbing their breads and other goodies for the evening. Mangia...Mangia...Cheers!
