My Huevos Rancheros ran like the Rio Grande
Cut into my Huevos Rancheros and the "over easy" egg white ran clear from under the cheese - the eggs were hardly cooked. Sent it back and said not to replace it since the overall plate looked unappealing and blandly boring as did anything on the tables around me anyway.
No one ever came over to inquire about the problem, apologize about a new cook or waiter, or see what they could do. I didn't want anything except to leave and get something to eat at home but it was interesting that is was seemingly no surprise to them that a guest would send something back and decide not to reorder.
Philly Cheese Steak Meat passes as Sirloin here
My two teen sons each ordered Sirloin and Pepper Jack Omelet and the "sirloin" was big chunks of sliced pale dry Philly Cheese Steak Meat (not even chopped up, just large thin hardly chopped slabs of the stuff you use to make the philly sandwiches) - technically I suppose is Philly Cheese Steak Meat is "sirloin" but did not expect that when ordering.
The boys told me if the menu had said they were getting a dry philly cheese steak meat & cheese omelet, they would have said "uh, no thanks". They didn't eat much of it which is opposite their usual ravenous appetites, so they must have been turned off.
Biscuit was hard and cold. Coffee, OK.
Others have already commented on the décor.
Stay at home in your PJs and enjoy a much better breakfast. Honestly, you can do this 95% of this food yourself.
