| - Time to give the village another try! Revamped and ramped up for 2017 holidays, my wife, her sister and mother and I went recently on Saturday. Let me tell you, the gluwhein was flowing, it is a warm spiced wine traditionally served in German Christmas markets. They also have hard cider, beer and several different food options. We had pretty much everything. Started with das strudel! It was incredible, I recommend cheese! Then we went in for candied nuts, chocolate truffles and pretzels! We also had a brat! 5 church was doing the brats, they were really good, top quality meat. The star of the show was the bacon jam hut. I tried all three and purchased two of the three. It is a little pricey at $15 a jar but it makes everything you will eat after that absolutely wonderful. Add it to everything! May I recommend the chilli garlic version, my wife's favorite. If you came here last year, give them another try, much improved this year.
