| - I've been here twice, my husband has been three times. He went last month, spent around $120, and had an excellent experience. So we decided to go here for our 25th anniversary. The majority of the food was good, and my prime rib and his steak were excellent, cooked perfectly. But there was something really weird in the garlic potatoes- two round, black, hard things that looked like rocks. Not something I'd expect or want to find in mashed potatoes.
The amateurish service was so bad . We had both a server and another employee, maybe a busser, waiting on us. The server, who had taken our order, came out with our soup and salad maybe five minutes later, and repeatedly tried to give them to the table next to us. They repeatedly refused the items and kept telling her they weren't ordered. She finally gave up and took the food out of the room. After a few more minutes, she reappeared carrying the same food and put it in front of us like we hadn't seen everything. She then knocked my husband's cocktail onto his leather shoes.
After our meal, in which I found those black rocks, the busser came over, picked up a plate that held a full little cup of sour cream, and dropped it face down on the floor, splattering it on his leather shoes again. She then said "Oh, I hear you've already had a cocktail on your shoes." So the two had discussed their clumsiness between each other, but not with their manager on duty, because it would have been nice to hear, "Sorry we've been dumping food on you, let us comp your drinks." Some acknowledgement.
My husband was at this point just saying "okay, okay" because he didn't want to further ruin things by getting angry. We ordered a chocolate layer dessert to share, and it turned out to be this weird, gummy gelatin thing that I suspect was much firmer than it was suppose to be.
So, for nearly $200, we got nice steak, scary potatoes, gummy cake, ruined shoes and clumsy service. I can't recommend this place.
