| - Came here due to a training session here at the hotel. Overall ambience of the hotel is pretty good as service was pretty stellar, room size was great for the value and the fact that it is located pretty close to the heart of the financial core. The walk to Eaton's (Downtown Shopping Mall) was a bit further than I thought, around 20 minutes or so, but still within walk-able distance and makes for quite the nice journey after a big meal.
Great selection of restaurants within the city as you really have access to every style of cuisine you would like, whether it ranges from the $ or $$$$ and from asian to western, the world is your oyster as people like to say. Hyatt is also nice because right downstairs, you have access to a starbucks and if you partied or drank hard throughout the nights, it is a must.
A really neat thing is that they allow for early check in, I was a bit earlier than expected and with no complaints, the service attendant helping me was able to get me early check in with no upfront charges which is relatively unheard of in this day and age. I have been through a lot of hotels in my experience and can say that there are very few hotels that are willing to go above and beyond to give you early check in with no charges. Their conference rooms located below the lobby are also great to host meetings and training sessions that really make it a different environment than hosting within board rooms in business towers or buildings and a very neat experience to witness.
Am a local to Toronto, so probably will not be coming here again, but highly recommend for people who want to visit thesix and experience and be in the heart of the financial district for visit or travel.
