Convive is a lesser known coffee shop in the area, so I thought I'd drop by and give it some love. My first impression was holy smokes, are they for real with the prices? I'm used to overpaying for my fancy espresso drinks, but a small iced soy latte that is over $5 is pushing it. There's nothing special to justify the price, and I'm no coffee expert but I at least know when the espresso tastes sour/burnt. They have rotating specials that actually sound amazing - it was a lavender latte when I stopped in - however, they pre-make these in batches instead of making it to order. Service was a also lackluster. The staff were giving off vibes that they didn't want to be there so I should just order, pay, and gtfo.
