  • We visited this place on Boxing Day, despite our attempts to get into Globefish @ Chinook. We were immediately greeted and seated by a couple of friendly waitresses. They were very quick and prompt with their service. The menu at Momo Sushi had the average items you would see in most sushi restaurants, nothing special jumped out at me when I saw it. The prices were average, much like if you went to other sushi joints along MacLoed Trail. I ordered some nigiri-zushi and a California roll, and finished with a couple bowls of refreshing miso soup. The sushi was fresh enough for me to eat it with very little to no soy sauce, but wasn't inspiring enough for me to compare it to the sushi I've had at other places. Finally I finished my meal with green tea ice cream, which doesn't get any better or worse in this city. Overall Momo sushi hits the spot if one was looking for a simple and filling meal after a day of shopping. I just wish that they had their own special rolls that stood out or a "freshest fish" menu like Wa's has. It feels like they need to put on a leather jacket and scream "forget those clowns across the street! come party with us!!"
