| - Great staff, convenient location, and clean new(ish) suite.
Staff was quick to reaccommodate after a 3:am wake-up (the restaurant adjacent was cleaning carpets with TRUCK MOUNTED EQUIPMENT, INCLUDING A DIESEL GENERATOR, parked under hotel windows) and provided an additional room across the hall for sleeping.
Breakfast room was not as large or as tidy as others we've experienced and ran out of at least one menu item each day of our stay (variously: fresh fruit, eggs, orange juice). The muffins are great. Paper plates, paper coffee cups, and plastic flatware contribute to the bus station ambiance. Perhaps Best Western, with real plates and stainless flatware, has set my expectation too high. I do doubt that Bill Marriott would serve a guest at his home a syrup-covered waffle on a limp paper plate.
The sectional sofa and other furnishings in room were nice and well-thought-out. The in-room coffee was terrrible: coffee so-so, coffee maker difficult to use because of furniture and location. Glassware (real glass) was nice, but when the reservation is for three, AT LEAST three cups and three glasses should be in the room.
The grounds and parking areas are pleasant. I appreciated the heated pool and hot spa out back. Our dog appreciated the bag dispenser and lawn area. Although there is perhaps little to be done, it is unfortunate that when walking to the many restaurants and shops across Bell Road, the sidewalk leading there ends and pedestrians are forced into automobile traffic lanes.
Thank you for reading. Overall, a good place to stay in the far north valley.
