  • I'm an ASE certified technician so my observations and opinions are based on experience. I recently bought a car at this dealership and I was highly disappointed every time I talked to the staff they stated that they would call me back and that never happened, I would always have to call them to find out the progress of my vehicle. I understand that a bought a used vehicle; however, the 50 point of inspection stated that everything was good and safe on this vehicle. The truck left me stranded on the side of the road less than 24 hours after buying the truck. The following is a timeline of the items promised to me and what actually happened: Sunday- bought the car at about 6 pm drove it around a little notice the transmission was slipping and the check engine light came on for a mass airflow sensor code and the steering was loose. I also noticed that it was missing a wiper blade and they said I had to wait until Tuesday when service opened back up. Monday- driving it to get to the airport the car died on the side of the freeway. I was on my way to California for training. My friend Chris called the dealership for me and told them how the vehicle died and that the check engine came on. They looked at the car and saw that the sending unit was bad. They replaced that and was supposed to test drive it and see what was going on with the transmission. Tuesday- Chris called and talked to Wade about the car work. He had to call them three times that day because they never returned the calls. They were supposed to check the transmission and check the steering and suspension. They stated that they would replace the 3-4 shift solenoid and they would check out the solenoid. Wednesday- Chris called to see if the car was done and they said they were still working on it. Thursday- Steve called me to let me know that the car was still not completed. I was able to talk to him and he said that the computer was programmed to shift at a higher rpm. I told him how it was slipping and it didn't seem like a program issue. I also asked what was going on with the front end and he stated that it was never looked at. He said that they would not replace the front end because they were not going to make a new car. I stated that on the 50 point inspection it said the steering was in good condition it also said that the transmission was in good condition. He said that he was taking the car to a Chevy dealership to re-flash the computer. They were supposed to call me back which they did not; I had to call them back. They said that the re-flash did not work but they were going to try to replace the shift solenoid. The only problem was that it wouldn't be done until Friday. I said that I needed a car to drive when I got home from training. They seemed reluctant to give me a car even though they had my car for four days and the two of those days they didn't do anything with the car. They let me borrow a car so I could get to work and when I got in that car to drive it the check engine light was on. Friday- They replaced the shift solenoid which was supposed to be done on Tuesday, but that didn't fix the problem. The truck needs a new Transmission and is still not fixed. The have yet to look at the steering and they are looking for a rebuilt transmission. I picked up the truck because I needed the four wheel drive for the weekend and there were still no wiper blades. The idler and pitman arm are loose, the sway bar is missing a linkage, the heater doesn't work, the cd player is broken, the transmission has completely failed, the control arm bushings are cracked and unsafe. Also I have no faith in the service department, that they would allow a vehicle to be put on your lot that is not safe or in any condition to be sold. I came in today to return the vehicle because of all the problems with it and Wade (sales manager) was rude to me didn't even ask me what was wrong or what he could do to make it right, he also stated that I was going to have to pay for painting the vehicle because of the scratches. The vehicle was sold to me with scratches on it, I even pointed it out to the sales person so trying to charge me now for something that was on there before just seems like they are trying to get something out of me. I informed the general manager and he said was thanks for bring it to my attention. He didn't even try to make me a happy customer.
