  • I recently went about shopping for a vehicle, and chanced the Century3 dealership for KIA. I was greeted before I could park and get a look. I introduced myself to the overly excited salesman. He proceeded to steer me not toward what I was planning to look into, but to their most expensive offerings. When I explained that I had specific interests I wanted to explore, and what the salesman was showing me didn't fit that need, he decided to have me sit in the showroom and wait for a little more than 30 minutes alone. I decided to be patient in order to see what would happen at that point. Two other employees stopped by as I sat there, me being unsure as to why I was sitting there, and those two people asked me if I needed help. I told them both that I was waiting for the salesman to return. He finally did return and asked if I would like him to bring something "from another sales lot" for me to check out, since he didn't have anything like what I was looking for. At this point, I should say, I never actually told the guy just what I was looking for, just that what he showed me so far wasn't it. He was not listening to me, and entertainingly persisted. I agreed to wait to see what he could offer. He returns ten minutes later with a very used, very dirty car with three wheels. Yes, three wheels. The fourth was the half size "doughnut" spare. I asked him after laughing a bit, where the fourth wheel was located. He told me that he didn't have it. At this point, I informed the guy that he was not helping me and that he had not once asked me what I WOULD LIKE TO SEE. I turned on my heel and left. It would've been nice to see what they offered in a small SUV, but I guess this dealership either doesn't stock any of KIA's SUV lineup, or this guy seriously did everything wrong to try and sell me something else.
