Made an installation appointment for yesterday from 2-5. At 5:15 I called asking why they had not shown up or called. No reason, really. They apologized and said they'd be out from 8-10 today. At 9, I called to ask what reason they had for being an hour late. They said whoops, they'd call me right back. An hour later, I called back because I hadn't heard anything. After being put on endless holds 3 times in a row, I finally got ahold of someone. They said they had changed my appointment from 2-6 this afternoon instead. No one had asked me if that was okay. Finally I got to speak to a supervisor, they said that they'd get someone out ASAP but wouldn't give me a time frame (edit: they came 30 minutes after the absolute latest time I told them I could be at my house). I'd rather pay $100 more to deal with someone that has half a brain and isn't completely incompetent, thanks.
Edit: I emailed Home Depot and advised them that maybe they shouldn't be doing business with people that are strategically incompetent. They agreed the situation is completely effed up. They said they could take $100 off the installation, but after reading even the latest reviews I've decided it isn't worth the time or effort.
