I want to revise my review. I've gone to SW twice this week and both times I had prompt, friendly service from knowledgeable employees. I'm excited to take on a project with a cool SW color (Sealskin) and happy to have a great paint resource close to home.
I don't think they should be open for homeowner business- they're just not oriented for that level of service. The crew is always in the backroom working (I assume lol) on commercial orders.. I have literally gone in, looked around, gathered paint chip samples and left without ever interacting with an employee. And then SW does a huge E blast promoting their 'color of the year' so I go for a paint chip and of course they're out - and clueless about the promotion. He offered to show it to me on his computer screen (umm, I can do that at home). I'll stick with Dunn Edwards or Benjamin Moore (at Ace Hardware) - both have better customer service from more knowledgable team members.
