  • Your response is at best misleading. Acosta installed two 3-ton units on our home, although our paperwork shows we purchased one 3-ton unit and one 2.5 ton unit. Regardless, our home only requires 3.5 tons l, so even if Acosta had installed what you sold us, it was still improper. We relied on your company. We trusted Acosta. You are correct, we renovated our home last year. However, the square footage, doors and windows remain the same. All experts have assured us the cosmetic changes to our kitchen and bathrooms did not alter our HVAC needs AT ALL. We have replaced the units Acosta installed with a properly sized system. Our humidity level has declined by 20%. Your insurance provider states that Acosta refuses to refund the original units. That is unacceptable for several reasons. Your own Operations Manager told us that today those systems would never have been installed and especially on the existing duct work. Your former salesman went rogue and our house and family was impacted. That is unfortunate. What is unforgivable is Acosta's unwillingness to make it right and do the right thing.
