Came here for a conference. I echo what many others have said - the casino area is extremely smoky, and there isn't an obvious way to get to your room without going through there. Even worse the conference rooms / ballrooms are directly over the casino, so the smell and smokiness is really strong. Not sure how it is with other Vegas hotels, but this setup really leaves something to be desired.
Worse is that even though I'm at a large (300+) conference, there is no free / subsidized conference WiFi and they want $50(!!!) per individual per day for use of the WiFi there.
As for the rooms, the interior is not bad, although the bathroom shows its age and the grout and tile were grimy. The TV consistently skipped like a bad record - not the best if you're trying to watch playoff hockey or basketball.
My least favorite part was that I had to run the bath water for about 5 minutes before it finally got hot enough for a shower. This is a huge waste of water, but it was that or freeze. Not sure how it takes so long to get hot water in a hotel, even though my room was on the 9th floor.
It's pretty far off the strip, and the area is sketchy - prostitutes walking the street after dark.
Absolutely would not stay here if I was spending my own money.
