  • Standing by my previous review (below). I moved in with zero landscaping done to my sizable yard which is desert landscaping. I've had a hard time keeping up with it in my own and occasionally slipping cash to the current landscapers treating the common areas. The goat head weeds have taken over my yard. I've had to hire my own landscaper on a regular basis to get this under control. I went out to the pool a few weeks ago, it was green. The pool guy is lazy and doesn't do what is needed. Instead he just finds quick fixes and now there is water continuously filtered and spraying back into the pool- which is good except that the spray covers over half the surface of water meaning if you get in- you're getting sprayed! There have been at least 3 property managers since I moved in a year ago... There is always a temp answering the phone and everyone is conveniently out of the office when you call and someone actually answers the phone. Laura has been the most helpful as of recently, let's hope she doesn't quit. I love my apartment. I'm disgusted with the ownership and management. DO NOT RENT FROM SOUTHWEST PM. They are incredibly rude and unprofessional. You're pretty much on your own as far paying for things to be fixed. They even charge you to manage your account even if your rent is automatically deducted. I wish Mark-Taylor properties had options with fenced yards- that's where I would be renting.
