Attended dinner with the girls last night and was excited to Try Evo for the first time. When I walked in I was very impressed; the ambience is great and also is the decor. I ordered a BB&T and specifically asked if the blueberries were muddled in the drink, the server said yes. If they weren't going to be muddled then obviously that was a request of mine. The drink was $10 and I expected a $10 drink, the blueberries weren't muddled. Yes I am somewhat of a specialty drink snob but that is why I asked before ordering. we also shared the bruschetta, not impressed. Then for my entree I ordered the chile shrimp which was really good and the spicy was just right. All in all, I would not return simply for the fact that these Scottsdale places do not measure up to their wanna be status. I have worked in the restaurant business and there is such a lack of customer service these days. Here's a tip Evo, educate your servers that if you come to refill water for one person at the table, common sense says to glance at all waters and refill as needed, I.E. Less than halfway filled means to refill all waters, then again it's always everyone's first day on the job these days.
