  • First let me start off by saying that I love Farmer's Markets and the entire idea of supporting our community for healthier alternatives versus what typical grocery stores offer, which is why I chose to stop by this one today. From the moment my girlfriend and I walked in to the moment we walked out, I was appalled by the callous attitude and rude introduction from Carrie, whom through my brief conversation with her came to find out she's the owner and organizer of this event. Strike One, we walked in and went to the second booth which had business cards and pamphlets, so I started grabbing a few and checking out what they had to offer, and Carrie had the audacity to ask me rudely "What are you doing, grabbing cards for somebody else or what?" A proper "business minded" approach would have been first a "hello" followed by a "I see you're interested in some of our vendors, is there anything I can help you with?" Then Strike Two occurred, I simply asked who was the one that organized the event and how do I go about getting a booth in here, her spectacular repsonse was "I am the organizer, and obviously you have my card that you snatched up already. Go online if you want to." I was taken aback, but not before Strike Three happened, which didn't involve me, but some other interested customer. The lady happened to ask about getting a booth in there as well, and to Carrie's awesome character, personality, and professionalism, she snapped back with "What, excuse me?!" Now, her newborn baby was crying and throwing a fit, and instead of Carrie saying "Excuse me for one second", the lady asked again, and Carrie responded with "What, I can't hear you, can you come back." Three Strikes and you're out. I run several businesses, and the one thing I've learned over the years, which hopefully Carrie is reading this and will absorb some of it, is that you NEVER know who you're dealing with as a business owner and you should ALWAYS be on your A-Game and treat people properly. She doesn't know if myself or the female customer were potential investors or property management for that center, and were looking at leasing out new spots or perhaps even getting rid of some old businesses. Personality and Professionalism go a along way in the world, especially in Las Vegas where we are a customer service based community. For the way today went, I will never go back to Fresh52, and might even consider starting my own Farmer's Market with friendly greetings and smiles, whenever someone comes up to ask me for information, since last time I checked, that's what you're there for to begin with, serve and help people. Will S.
