When you come to Chinatown for a massage, the expectations has to be just a bit lower. Perhaps the rooms are not as clean, the bed is not as comfortable, the skill is decent. Also, I am Chinese myself and I already know that you can expect that it is culturally expected that the masseuse to talk amongst each other even across the rooms. It happens all the time even at the beautiful spas uptown and it happens when I'm Asia, especially in Asia.
I went in with a groupon last night not expecting the Massage to be too amazing but boy oh boy. Gigi was a master it seems. She knew where I was having tension and problems and she focused on them like my RMT and she even pulled some moves I've never felt before that was amazing. The bed was also even more comfortable than expected. My face was not numb or hurting and it didn't creak. They also give out stamp cards for free 30 min massage after 10 visits which I've yet to see with the decent prices in china town.
I'm a fan so far!
