We came here on a Saturday in November for a scheduled service. The appointment was for 10:15am. They were to change the tires to the winter ones that we loaded in the trunk. Also we bought a new set of steel rims for the winter tires that we brought along too. They have informed us that it will take approximately 2 hours so we were prepared to wait.
We arrived around 9:45am and were taken care by a CSR. We explained what we wanted done with the tires and rim, also we informed him that my wife did not bring her cell number as that was the number indicated on the invoice so we gave him my cell number. Knowing that we had to wait around for more than 2 hours, we decided to go to Yorkdale and spend some time there. Before leaving, we informed the CSR of our intentions and to make sure to call on my cell and not my wife's cell.
We came back after 12pm to find out no work has been done to the car because they called and weren't sure which tires to put on the new rims. Everything was explained before we left but they needed confirmation again. What it meant was that we needed to wait another 2 hours. Both of us lost our cool and told the CSR that we didn't know that a PHD was required to figure out that the new steel rims needed to go with the winter tires. Also, I never received a call and we suspected that they call my wife's cell. I don't know whether it was intentional or sheer incompetence. We left the dealership around 2pm.
The lack of consideration for someone else time was unbelievable. As suspected, they called my wife cell and left a message not at 10:15am which was the appointment time but at 12pm so right before we arrived.
The sad part of this whole mess is that my wife came here to change her rear windshield a couple of weeks previous and they were extremely efficient and great.
Don't bother coming in for a service or making an appointment as it's obvious that they don't keep the time.
Not recommended. I withheld naming the CSR in this review but their service department needs to step up.
