  • We tried to shop here yesterday, on tax-free weekend. The air conditioning was OFF. It was extremely humid and must have been 95 degrees in the store. The sales staff was pouring sweat, and we finally just gave up waiting in line and left our purchases, as I was starting to feel sick from the heat. Aside from the heat, we didn't even see that much that was worth purchasing, and the racks were pushed so close together that it was difficult to even navigate through. This was my first experience shopping at any Belk. Will NOT be returning.
