  • So I have never been to Talking Stick despite living in Scottsdale for 7 years....tonight was to have been the first time for my girlfriend's birthday. She had called earlier this week to make reservations at the buffet to celebrate and after dinner go to the bar up in the penthouse. I was excited! But then I walk thru the front doors and my girl was in tears! ON HER BIRTHDAY!!!! Apparently she went to check in and was RUDELY told that she was mistaken as they NEVER make reservations on the weekends. She proceeded to tell the manager and staff not only did she make the reservation SOMEONE called her to reconfirm HER RESERVATION!!!!????? they basically called her a liar. So feeling stupid she walked away in tears. I attempted to try and fix this, I went to the front desk of the hotel and got the manager on duty, Mary. God Bless her as she attempted to resolve this but by that point my girlfriend just wanted to leave. She was done and I dont blame her. This was my FIRST AND LAST VISIT TO TALKING STICK
