Hone your inner lumberjack, cause there are hatchets to be thrown!
I don't know what I liked more, throwing an axe, watching it occasionally fly back at me, being coached or the fact that this place is licensed. You hear me? BOOZE!
They also have small kitchen offerings such as steamed buns, pita chips with dip trio, and pretzel bites.
The group next to us brought their own snacks in so there is that option as well - which I was not aware of.
We also drank them out of alcohol that day, but we did show up in full plaid (mistakeeeee it gets really hot in there) and crocheted beards. If you are also noise sensitive, it is very loud in the facility.
Our coach Rebecca was great, when I got frustrated she calmed me down and walked me through. She also taught me how to throw the hatchet one handed. And after you complete the round robin tournament, you get to throw a full size axe!
They are also all for team photos after your sharp-sharp-throw-throw time.
If you loved hurling metal things at wood they also have leagues you can join and plenty of Batl merchandise to buy and wear later.
