Never again! Took my children for checkup back in November of last year and, when I tried to pay the copays, was told they first bill insurance then bill me for the remainder. Never received any bills or correspondence since. I Received a collections notice last week for a balance due plus collections fees. I called the collector and was told It is not the responsibility of the company to notify me or bill me, it is my responsibility to contact them to see if I have a balance. As a working mother of 3 young children, I doubt I am alone in saying I certainly don't have the time or ability to contact every doctor my children see just to make sure our account is current, especially when I was informed that I would receive a bill. I have offered to pay the principal balance, minus collections fees, but they will not work with me.
