| - This company will deliver damaged goods. I had 2 deliveries that had damage. The first delivery the driver and crew tried to tell me to accept even though it is damaged. Being that it is freight, if they can get you to sign, they are off the hook. I could not be home for the 2nd and they tricked my wife into signing for it. The damage looked like a little paint, but underneath the structure was caved in. At first they laid the box on the side she could not see it, she asked to see the other. They turned it over, and there was a rip in the box that had been taped, with paint scraped on it. She felt it, but did not apply pressure. The driver said it was in perfect condition.
The driver worked for another company call Javier Moving.
I called to requesting that they pick up the damaged merchandise that day. The rep could not do anything. I spoke to her manager, I think Justina was the name. She said we signed and too bad, I need to call the people I ordered it from. It was a cocky non customer service attitude.
Spoke to the company I ordered a package from and they said I have to put in a claim with the shipping company. What a debacle. Luckily I put this on a Credit Card and can dispute the charge.
I feel there is a scam when these logistic/freight companies damage goods, they do whatever it takes to get the person on the other side to sign, so they can collect their money and don't have to deal with the return.
