  • So I was in my office talking to my movie buff friend about which movie he saw that weekend. Me: "I can't believe you like going to the theater, it's sticky and people are there and they text during movies and it's awful" Friend: "you need to try AMC, they have a bar and reserved seats that RECLINE" Me: "WHAT?!" So...fast forward to my husband freaking out about having to see the new Star Wars movie which used to be something I would dread. That's is, until I was able to experience the glory of this theater experience. Let me repeat, RESERVED seats. That means no going early to find a decent seat. ONLINE tickets, no waiting in line. A BAR, which means WINE. RECLINER SEATS which aren't only comfortable but give you SPACE away from strangers. The best part of this is getting to spread out and pretend like a bunch of rude strangers aren't near you. I cannot wait to come back and cuddle up in my recliner seat and not have to worry about phones shining in my face and movie talkers. Way to go AMC! I hope many theaters follow suit.
