| - We came for happy hour Saturday of Labor Day weekend. There wasn't a terrible line to take the elevator up the tower, and we only had to wait about 10 minutes to do so. Once upstairs, we took a lap around the lounge scoping out the best seats-- there's a booth overlooking both the strip and the sunset, that is GORGEOUS right around sun down!
It took us a while to order, even though they weren't super busy. We had to flag our waitress down three times before she actually came to take our order. That was a little frustrating....
Our food was cold when it came out. We got the calamari and the portobello mushroom/ mozzarella apps, which both would have been great had they not been cold. My husband ordered the bacon wrapped stuffed peppers afterwards, and those came out hot.
Wine and beer are expensive, and aren't included in the happy hour. However, the happy hour is a great deal for the apps, and we got out of there for $35 for three apps, a beer, and tip- not bad at all!
The best part was watching skydivers jump past our window, and wave to them. There's something so exhilarating about watching someone else plummet a thousand feet, and being safe behind glass inside.
Overall, I give the lounge four stars for the view and the ambiance, even though the service and the food were not great.
