| - The staff was very friendly and welcoming. (As were the other people in my class)
The facility itself is nice. There's ample parking, so that's not an issue here. The locker rooms and bathrooms were clean and well kept. They also have showers which have curtains so you can shower after your session.
The room itself was very spacious and every practitioner had enough space for themselves. What really impressed me was that there wasn't any smell from the room. Granted, I've never done bikram before today, I still expected at least that gym smell, which was pleasantly absent.
I've taken other yoga classes, but this was my first bikram experience. Vladimir was our yogi and he was amazing. He was nice, energetic, and encouraging, exactly what you'd want in an instructor. (I do well with positive reinforcement, so I was very happy.). The class itself was a workout. If they just put a collecting dish under me, the drought would be over. After class, he made himself available to answer any questions or talk, and while I wanted to tell him how much I enjoyed the class, I was so ready to get home and shower and eat after that amazing session.
As for first impressions, I'm very excited to return to take more classes from Vladimir, as well as the other teachers at this center.
Schedule wise, they have multiple classes every day, as well as Krav Mga sessions on weekends, so it's very easy to fit into a schedule. (Very important for me)
Also of note, they do have some special pricing for first time students so be sure to ask. :)
