rev:text	Not a fan. Visiting the area from out of town, I wanted something unique. Man...did I get it. I should have specified GOOD unique, not bad. I was seated in an outdoor common area, where I could listen to the Johnny Cash wannabe on stage. The guy wasn't bad, but I'll be damned if I didn't have to wait 20 minutes without so much as a peep or a whisper from someone in a server role. The server was helping people all around me, but for some reason I didn't get helped. Tried to flag her down several times...wouldn't even LOOK my way. I finally had to get up and walk inside. The moment I sat down, I was helped. I ordered the cowgirl steak and some fries. Steak was tough and chewy...I would say a good 30% of it was actually inedible. Some parts I couldn't even cut through with my knife, and I'm not talking bone here, just gristle. Yikes. There are a ton of good restaurants in Scottsdale. If you're looking for a dinner theater atmosphere with sub-par food, then have at it here. If you want a decent meal, look elsewhere. I ordered a beer, too. I think it was something that they either made on premises or sourced locally, and man, it had to be the worst beer I've ever had. It was flat and it was bitter. Probably what a beer would taste like when made by a friend who was still experimenting. "Dude! I learned how ta make beeeeeer!!!" Gnarly. Yeah, no thanks. This patio was neither the pinnacle NOR the peak. If I had to choose two "p" words, they would be "piss poor." It gets a second star because the young girl inside was super sweet. I hope she finds a great restaurant where she can be proud to work. I like to end on a good note, so hmmmmm... well, there was plenty of parking. lol
