| - Firstly, I want to say everyone I encountered here were friendly, professional and overall nice to work with. With that being said, I find myself disappointed overall with my experience at Platinum Enterouge. I booked a hair cut, and they were kind on the phone and able to get me in at the time and date I wanted. I knew I'd be spending a little more than I normally do (usually about $50 plus tip at my other salon), but with the wonderful reviews and the know-how of styling, I thought it would be worth it as I'm celebrating my six year anniversary this week and wanted to look amazing. The wash, cut and blowdry were all good. Nothing spectacular, but not bad by any means. I approved the changes to my hair and the adding of layers once my hair had been blown out, and was excited for it to be styled. Except, it wasn't. My hair had great volume from the blow out, but needed some tweaking on the ends with either a flat iron or a curling iron. Neither happened. I don't know if this was due to the fact that it was the end of the evening, or if a style isn't included in the cost, but I honestly thought when I was saying how good it now looked and felt, it was strictly about the haircut and that it would be styled a bit more with the use of hot tools. My upper layers are curling in, while my longer layers underneath are sticking out making me look very much like circa 1950s Mary Tyler Moore, and not so much the VS bombshell hair I had been expecting. Again, I have nothing bad to say about the people that did my hair, just very disappointed that I spent nearly $100 including tip, and didn't even get an extra ten minutes to have my hair style sealed with a curling or flat iron.
