  • Smoked Wheat Beer. Seriously. I don't get it. It's delicious, but it's definitely not what I thought I'd like. I don't really like wheat beer. I like darker beer. But this wheat beer was so good and so different with the smoked flavor! Apparently it was 50/50. The bartender said some people loved it, some people hated it. I loved it! I did a three beer sampling. I also sampled the brown ale and my cousin eddie (made with yams, ginger, cinnamon, nutmeg and allspice). I thought my fave would be the darker brews, but it was the smoked wheat! They've apparently added more to the food menu, so now they offer chili and pulled pork sandwiches. Totally substantial drinking food! I'm excited to see what other brews they come up with, and glad this is around my hood! I'm happy to head down the road for local brews any day of the week!
