  • I have tried to like the new Safeway - but long morning lines, and a particularly RUDE and UNPLEASANT cashier this morning, Zetia, have turned me off of this location. The express line is rarely open in the morning and I always end up taking 20 minutes just to run in and grab my morning protein bar. It's pretty terrible. I'm going to make alternate plans for my morning stop. I'll go to Sprouts, even though it's two miles out of my way, to get faster, more pleasant service and a better experience. And why do the cashiers have to find something on your receipt and circle it every time? Even when they can clearly see I'm in a hurry??
