I went here for a number of different dance classes...swing and solo jazz. It was fun and everyone was quite friendly. A great place to meet a ton of people ensuring you'll always have a partner at one of the city's many social dances.
However, if you're not a natural dancer (and I am most definitely not), this is not a great place to learn. They teach you a ton of moves really quickly without teaching any one move or technique very well. After the many classes I took, I felt I could kind of fumble my way through a dance but that my moves were far from smooth. And, since you learn so many moves in quick succession without focusing on any, I quickly forgot most of what I learned.
After trying out other dance studios that actually broke down and focused on technique over the "HERE LEARN EVERYTHING RIGHT NOW" approach of Bee's Knees, I found out there was a better way to learn that I didn't find at this studio.
