| - I've been to Cowfish five times, and I've had great experiences almost every time. The first time, I was skeptical because when I see a large menu, I assume they put a 5 percent effort into each dish (like that chain restaurant a block away). I was wrong. I got the burgushi and the crab dip. My date got the turkey cranberry sandwich thing. He raved about it.
The second time, I had the lamb burger. The feta on top could be it's own menu item, it's so big. It was fantastic! Third time, a group of us were just there for drinks. The bartender was not very knowledgeable on the beer selection. He/She had to be corrected by his/her coworker. I've also gotten the tuna burger, which I loved.
The prices are not too bad for Southpark, but I tend to spend too much because their beer selection is GREAT and I cannot skip the crab dip.
The reason I'm not giving 5 stars is because on one occasion, we waited for silverware until after the food arrived, but there A FEW hostesses by the front door just standing around staring into space. Rolling silver is probably not in their job description, but noticing we didn't have it is. There always seem to be too many hostesses standing by the front door. On a different occasion, a server took way too long to greet us. But the food rocks, and owner Marcus is very friendly.
