| - Service was prompt. Orders were wrong. Wife was very clear on order sheet - no cheese for daughter's burger (dairy allergy) and vegetable patty instead of beef for my wife, who does not eat any animal products. Wife took her time to succinctly but thoroughly write out she and daughter's order. Also, no buns requested. One burger came with bun anyway.
Daughter received cheese on burger, despite clear request for no cheese. Yup. She's allergic. No-animal-product wife received a beef patty, despite very clearly requesting no bun, no cheese, and no beef. No silverware was delivered with no-bun burger. Wife bit into no-bun burger, balancing the bare patty on her fingertips and discovered it was beef, rather than the vegetable patty. Note: Vegetable patty is a regular menu item. When someone takes the plunge for the vegetable patty, they probably don't eat meat, nor expect to receive meat.
Wife wrote note to server. Confusion sort of resolved... until the bill came and made no sense. It seemed to be erroneous in my favor, so we signed the check that we did get.
Server asked for credit card after she had already taken it earlier, leaving me wondering if they lost it. They found it, apparently.
Despite being a single party of four, we received two different checks initially, but then only one of the two for signature. I think.
Next time we'll just go to a regular movie theater and sneak food in. Much less confusion and hassle. Wife may call or write to them tomorrow just to help them understand things that they should shore up. Wife is nice. I'm more direct. We don't want anything from them or any sort of entanglement that would cause anyone more confusion.
