  • Great gym situated in the heart of downtown with walking distance to the Q, Progressive Field, Jack Casino and lots of dining. In comparison to the other two locations (Mentor and Twinsburg) this facility is smaller but MUCH cleaner and have nicer locker rooms. Another benefit is there is a cafe inside the building, haven't tried it but it looks healthy. There are two floors to this facility. The first floor has the cardio equipment, a small stretching area with 4 heavy bags and an exercise room that also has a spinning area attached to it. The basement is where the locker rooms and the weights are. It's small but spread out. Only 1 and 1/2 functioning cable machines (at the moment), 2 squat racks, a few benches and mostly machines. This gym reminds me more of a LA Fitness/24 Hour Fitness type vibe than a real lifters gym. I love the fact that they had people on the floor cleaning. Now that I have been to all 3 locations (Streetsboro isn't open yet to my knowledge) I'd say they rank in the following order: Twinsburg, Mentor, Downtown....this is really only because I want to be in a gym where the atmosphere is a "lifting atmosphere".
