Well i heard good things about Carmax so i would not blame them as a whole but this location is worth avoiding. My salesman told us the way that they do trades is just cut us a check when we bring it in. Missed out on the tax credit there. Oh well. Pretty sure he just wanted to close us that night because my trade was not on site. I called 3x to make sure of the drop off procedures when my trade gets towed in. Went to pick up my check for my trade, and they lost my keys. Our salesman sold us tint. Next day i text him to ask if the windshield was included. He didnt know and blew me off, told me to ask the tech the day of tint. So i contacted mngmt and they confirmed that Carmax does not tint windshields per NV State Law. My financing would have hard posted if i waited til the day of my tint to ask the tint tech like my salesman told me to do, and i would not have been able to cancel im sure. We post dated a check for 4 days out for our down paymemt. They cashed it the next day and the salesman defended it because we said "it was in there but we wanted to play it safe" . POST DATED GENIUS! Okay so by now we can assume it was not a good experience. Until you get an oil change alert on the car after less than a month of driving. Oh and my drivers seatbelt broke which i have to take up with the manufacturer. So i did. Infiniti gave me an inspection report that my back brake pads are at 2mm. Legal limit is 3mm. So i guess that carmax is capable of good experinces but this location is not. My favorite part of this is i was told my trade value would be afftected due to the fact that the vehicle would not start, which made sense to me even with one let down after another. Til they got my signature for the $400 check on my trade.... then jumped my trade and drove it into the bay i know i should not laugh cause the joke is on me but damn.... are you even slightly embarassed? Oh and i have left Theresia messages to contact me but she was at lunch. Surprise surprise no returned call from Theresia THE store manager who screens calls for her voicemail. Thanks for the worst experience
