See my original review below, here's an update. My most recent visit in November 2015 was to buy a $300 microwave that is only sold in limited stores, including Bed, Bath & Beyond. $300 makes it probably the most expensive microwave sold in the world and easily one of the most expensive items they sell in their entire store. They advertise it heavily. Do you think they would have one on display so I could actually touch it and see if it "feels right" to me? Nope. One of their premiere products and they are sealed away on their downstock shelves.
While I was in the store I was enticed by one of those impulse items and decided to buy it. I took it to the checkout lane and the clerk was just finishing up with a customer so it would only be another few seconds until it was my turn. But no. A very hyper junior manager type of young guy insisted that I follow him all the way to the other end of the counter to a checkout lane where there were no customers. Did that make it better for me? Well no, because the sales clerk was busy finishing up on a return and ignored me until she finished her task ... which took longer than my entire transaction would have taken at the other register. I guess they told the "manager" that was what he was supposed to do but he would have been better off if he just used common sense.
