Our public storage served its purpose for our needs, for the most part. Stored with them for 7 months & moved out April 1. After scheduling our move out date a month in advance, we received notice (probably sent before we canceled) that our rent was going to be raised about $20/mo as of April 1 (our move out day). Glad we'd planned on moving out this day anyways. We moved out April 1 & went by the office within an hour of them opening this morning to make sure everything was settled- had to pay a prorate for April. This was fine, but the guy told me $15.. I expressed that this seemed a little high for 1 day of rent (realistically less than an hour..) and that it should have only been a few dollars at most if they based it off of our normal rent. He confirmed that I was correct & took my $5. Seemed silly to me how they went about this when they were very adamant that I leave them a wonderful review..
