  • Sorry to say we had a really bad experience with Jaffe Chiropractic Clinic and would not recommend their office. After months of treatment with almost no improvement (after an auto accident) our son went to another chiropractor and began improving immediately. If that wasn't bad enough -- next was the huge (I'm not even talking $5k huge -- like WAY huge) bill that Jaffe Chiropractic submitted to the insurance company. And worse yet, -- Dr Jaffe was unwilling to discount his services at all. The other doctors all were willing to take some reduction in their bills (standard in settling insurance claims -- so that everyone can be paid fairly based on the value of their bills.) Only Dr Jaffe was unwilling to work with us on this, which says to me, not that he places value on his services (what he told my son) or that he cares about providing excellent care, or that he cares whether a patient is improving ... but that it comes down to how many times could he realistically bill the insurance to maximize his check. I've known for many years that there are several 'schools' of chiropractors: those that are really effective and very compassionate, caring doctors; then there are the 2nd group -- those that are ... how do I say?... less than effective and less interested in their patients than their paycheck, and then there are those in group 3. I hate to say it -- buth they are the ones who are permitted to use the DC designation (but probably shouldn't.) I've met enough of them thru the years... from just questionable outlook all the way to the you-gotta-be-kidding-me-end of the freak meter. ("drink 1 shot of mescal every hour, and it's very important that you eat the worm..". that's just one of them. Back to Jaffe Chiropractic Clinic. Suffice it to say I don't count them in the first group..
