  • I definitely prefer small business eye doctors over LensCrafters. If I were rating just the Dr, this would be one star; the staff would earn five stars. I feel this place is over priced and they only sell my contacts in larger boxes requiring me to pay more out of pocket since I have to buy larger boxes. My plan covers $150 for glasses and in this price range, I can choose from six different frames... This is unreasonable in my opinion. The Dr seemed inconvenienced by my request for specific lenses and seemed pushy about a particular brand; most likely because she gets a kick back. When I told her that I didn't want the brand she was recommending, she insisted I try them and asked me to put them in. I told her that I have tried many brands and acuvue oasys was the only ones I liked, she didn't seem to care. I put the craptastic contacts in that she recommended and when I told her that they were uncomfortable, she seemed irritated and said, "Just take them out and get whatever you want then." She also seemed to be having a bad day and was short during the exam and when I asked about what age I should start taking my children to the eye Dr. The staff her is great and very helpful! The staff at the front desk was very knowledgeable and helped a great deal with what my benefits would cover. All in all, I won't be back because of the price and the unprofessional demeanor of the Dr.
