I heard this was a New England Patriots bar. So I thought maybe there would be some Red Sox fans during baseball season to watch this disastrous kickoff to the 2011. Not the case. New management took over and it's no longer a Pats bar. The manager also laughed at me for being a Sox fan :P
PROS: cheap drinks. It's also nice that they have these big windows at the back of the bar with outdoor seating. You rarely see the sun in most pubs. Plenty of seats. Patrons were active in putting money in the jukebox which went from Jeff Healey to Garth Brooks to Slaughter. Classic rock was played the rest of the time.
CONS: No kitchen. I asked for a menu and got a booklet of restaurants that delivered. So this would be a cheap place to have a potluck or something I guess. The air was pretty stale from cigarettes smoked here 40 years ago.
The outdoor space has some potential though. They said they have DJ battle events here but not many are showing up for it. Not a big surprise to me. I don't think the clientele here wants that kinda thing. A food truck event would be pretty good though.
