| - Centennial Albertsons got me again!!! It wouldn't be so bad if the product just rung up at the wrong price, but when the checker tears the sales price from the product and says it is not on sale - and she is wrong, it frosts you. I picked up a container of Dreyer's ice cream marked down to $2.99 - a closeout sale. Checkout lady rips the red tag off the ice cream and says it's for the mint crunch not the plain crunch so it's really $4.99. I said ok. - When I got home and looked at the ice cream it was indeed the mint crunch.
In addition, I had a can of aerosol whipped cream that was marked on the shelf at $3.99. I was charged $5.79. So I was nicked for almost $4.00 on this visit. My fault, I let my guard down. Should have followed my own advice, but got complacent. Just the week before they had a special on potato chips and tried overcharging me several dollars because I had "allegedly" not fulfilled the proper purchase requirement. I did put my foot down that time - the checkout girl stopped the line, walked back to the potato chip aisle to check (in the mean time everyone in line is glaring at me - like I'm the culprit). When the girl came back, she reluctantly agreed I was correct and charged me the right price. Some of these Albertson checkers act like they are giving out their own money. Jeeze...
Remember, when going to this Albertson's you're not only going to shop, you're going to battle. Be sharp, be alert, beware.
Oh - she did give me 10 Monopoly stickers... Wow!
