  • I am surprised by all of the negative reviews for this place! I almost decided against going because of it. The staff was great, paid our table just the right amount of attention. They were also super friendly. Usually I am a little suspicious of overly friendly strangers, but their interest in us seemed to be genuine. We went with the Groupon and were happy with the selection. The portions were HUGE! I had the seafood pasta. It was filled with fresh clams, shrimp, mussels, scallops, and squid. I tend to eat most of the seafood first and then I am left with just pasta, but there was plenty left over for me to take home. The sauce was maybe a tad bit bland, but overall I was happy and would order this again. My husband had the steak and frites. His enormous steak was cooked to perfection, and the frites were delicious! We did seem to wait a while between courses, but I did notice the waiter letting the kitchen know when to start preparing each course for each table, so I was ok with it since I knew my meal was being prepared fresh.
