HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!
I was in Scottsdale for business and wanted a nice seafood dining experience. I researched Yelp and saw Cuttlefish with great reviews. I arrived around 6:15pm and there was only ONE other vehicle already parked at the front door. I was a bit surprised since the reviews talked about their exceptional Happy Hour....Empty. The outside decor was very nice.
I walked in and was solemly greeted by a gentleman from behind the bar. I immediately noticed the restaurant was COMPLETELY empty except one couple who was already eating. I was sat by a young man who also brought me water and a menu. He later told me someone will be with me shortly. Well "shortly" never came. The guy from the bar passed me up several times without uttering one word, but he made it a point to stand and socialize with the couple who was already there. He tended to their every need and I later find out from their conversation that he was part owner. Keep in mind that he was the only person working the floor.
A blonde later walks in and was entusiastically greeted by the guy in question and another guy who magically appeared out of nowhere! No one still has come over to me for ANYTHING. Both guys are standing at the door speaking with this one lady and then both escort her to her table. One guy begins to tell her about the happy hour specials and the other goes over to the couple already dining and holds a conversation. REALLY, AM I INVISIBLE!!!
I got up and walked out and neither cared that business was walking out of the door or stopped their conversation. One would think that with an empty restaurant - missing $$$ would not be an option.
I hate to say this, but I felt like I wasn't the right complexion to receive service of ANY kind that night. I glady spent my $$$ elsewhere...
