The facility itself is state of the art and awesome..the view of the city from all the large glass windows is incredible and their isn't a bad seat in the house, well for Pens games anyways, never been to a concert there..
the lighting and the sound in that place make for a memorable experience for being at a game- i really miss Mellon arena but Consol is a welcome addition for pens fans
The only negatives are the way overpriced parking in the venue lots next door (which is expected though) and the fact that as soon as the game timer sounds off, people jump up to run to the doors even though they know their still gonna be there an hour later trying to get out of the parking lot.. i like to stay and watch the after game interviews but gotta get outta peoples way who are running to the PensGear store (which is way to small for how many people try to cram in there) and the concession items cost an arm and a leg for 1 med drink and 1 order nachos it was 19 bucks..wow consol cashing in on Pens fans..so i spent 40 bucks on parking my truck and a drink/nachos!
